Pixabay
Pixabay is at the top of my list because I have been using this site for years. I also love that I no longer have to download and upload the images in Canva because they have now integrated the two. Plus, they let you choose the file size and have vector options. Major pluses for me.
Unsplash
I recently learned about Unsplash and have been getting some decent images from them so far. They have a huge library that includes images and videos. so check them out if you are looking for both. The only issue I have is that their file sizes are huuuuuge, so if you have a quota limit or don’t want to slow down your site, use sparingly.
Pexels
I just started using Pexels. I can’t remember where I learned about them, but i do love they have lots of inclusive pictures to choose from. No more searching FOREVER for a picture that represents what the world looks like today. Time saver!! Plus I’ve just noticed that WordPress also integrates with Pexels (no plugin required) and allows you to use it for the Featured Image field. Interesting……

UPDATED 12/14. After the debacle that was trying to find pictures for a client using the words money and African American, watch it here, I’ve decided to update this list with an additional resource for free graphics. This site has loads of free images with African Americans represented. However, it still doesn’t address my initial concern. When I search for the word money, I get no results found……… What’s wrong with this picture??
