Since December 2018, when I decided that I would venture into the online space of Virtual Assistance the road has been quite bumpy.
From having doubt set in, to negative self-talk about all the reasons why I can’t make this work to looking at the dwindling of my savings account and debating about all the reasons why I should get a ‘real’ job, to pushing myself to be more confident, more brave, and more aligned with what I have to offer to this world and any business for that matter that can really use my help.
This is pushing myself onto this platform and declaring that I am here and I am here to stay. Pushing publish on this website and on this first blog post makes it all the more real and all the more worthy of me going out there and aiming for the best.
All of my technical skills came flooding back into me as I created this new website versus the free one that I was temporarily using on Wix as I tried to find clients. I decided to bite the bullet and go all in. Outsource Mondays is LIVE if you can’t tell!!
Going All In
I am going to make this business work, therefore I had to be on a platform that would not only help me to drive customers, but also help me to be more visible in this online space.
Oh boy, did I initially fight the urge to just go with the simple template and let it be done. But, I have dusted off my old html skills and have upgraded them to include the new wave of internet and websites, that is WordPress, and Elementor, and plugins that range from SEO building to ecommerce management.
I dabbled in some of this when I created my personal blogs, but this was next level stuff as I built out this new website and I was here for ALL-OF-IT.
Loving every moment where I figured out where the code was reading from on different elements that was not giving me the fonts that I wanted and updating it to suit the vision I had stored in my head of the experience that I want my customers to feel when they visit my website.
Okay. Let me rein this all back in and dial all this geeky excitement down a notch.
I said (or more like ranted) all that to say that my new business, Outsource Mondays is here!! And we (my business and I) are here to stay and slay for all the clients that come our way.
Let the fun times begin!!
