The Post-Meeting Process you don’t want to skip as a Project Manager

The Post Meeting Process Project Management

💁🏽‍♀️ If you’re a business owner, you know how important it is to have a good meeting process. It’s crucial to be able to facilitate productive meetings, and it’s even more important to be able to get your team involved and engaged in the process.

But what do we do after a meeting? Here are a few actions that you can take:

1. Reflect on how the meeting went. 🤔

After you’ve finished a meeting, take some time to reflect on what you learned from it. Did they understand what you were trying to accomplish? Was there anything about the meeting that didn’t go as planned? What can you do differently next time?

2. Circulate the minutes. 🔃

After reflecting, circulate the minutes of the meeting to ensure that everyone is aware of what happened at the meeting and what decisions were made. This will help everyone stay informed about the meeting, which is an important part of maintaining good communication within your team.

3. Conduct an anonymous survey for your team: 📝

After you have circulated the minutes, conduct an anonymous survey for your team to ask them their thoughts on how they felt during the meeting, if there were any topics that should be discussed again in the future, etcetera—anything that will help you improve your next meeting or create a better culture within your organization!
